Chinese Dragon and Phoenix Cloisonne Bowl with Carved Wooden Stand
This is a beautiful example of Chinese cloisonne. The colors are bright and the enamel has a shiny, mirror-like finish. The interior of the bowl is decorated with a yellow dragon and phoenix amidst cloud scrolls, lotus flowers, and scrolling foliage. A pair of yellow dragons and clouds float around the exterior. The cloisonne comes complete with carved wooden display stand.
This cloisonne bowl is an impressive display piece and could be used as a centerpiece. It would make a great quality addition to any collection, and would also make a wonderful and very unique gift.
