A finely crafted early 19th-century English sterling silver and cut glass mustard pot, made by Thomas Watson & Co. in Sheffield in 1824. The base is composed of faceted, diamond-cut crystal, paired with a hinged sterling silver lid and collar. The domed lid features a thumbpiece and spoon notch. Fully hallmarked on the collar with the maker’s mark T.W. & Co, lion passant (925 Sterling), Sheffield, and the date letter a under crown for 1824.
