Very good condition and guaranteed original WWII German army dress bayonet or sword knot that features the color combination for Company 14 of an Infantry Regiment. Colors are strong and overall clean with a few minor stains. All weaving is nice and tight. Strap is free of tears or other damage. A very scarce WWII German army dress knot that will make a fine addition to your collection alone or use to complete your bayonet or sword.
This came from a very old collection, black light tested, it is a rare original. It is guaranteed made before or during WWII. It is unissued with the factory tie string. The knot is in mint condition.
Condition Report:
- Strap:(1) Excellent – Appears new, unopened and unused. Does not show any obvious signs of wear.
- Slide: (2) Very Good – Under loop and scope, some wrinkles and possibly beginnings of some cracks along the braiding of the leather are visible.
- Crown: (3) Good – White crown shows some discoloration. The weave is tight.
- Tassel: (1) Excellent – Appears new, unopened and unused. Does not show any obvious signs of wear.
