Early 20th-century Roycroft copper incense burner with hand-hammered surface, domed vented lid, and tripod scroll feet. Stamped with the classic orb-and-cross Roycroft mark. A rare and collectible Arts & Crafts era piece.

Roycroft hammered copper incense burner, dating from the Arts and Crafts movement period, circa 1910–1925. Expertly handcrafted by the Roycroft community in East Aurora, New York, this piece is a testament to American decorative arts craftsmanship.

The burner features a domed, vented lid with a central finial and a deep, hand-hammered bowl supported by three curled copper feet. Ventilation holes encircle both the lid and body, ensuring functionality while adding symmetry to the design. The underside bears the early Roycroft orb-and-cross hallmark with the letter “R”, confirming its authenticity and period.

A beautiful example of Roycroft metalwork, this piece is not only a functional incense burner but also a sculptural object suitable for collectors of Arts and Crafts decor, mission-style furnishings, and American decorative arts.
