This is an original 1908 presidential campaign fob featuring William H. Taft and James S. Sherman, the Republican nominees for President and Vice President. The fob is brass with “TAFT AND SHERMAN 1908 WASHINGTON” engraved on the front, and retains its original leather strap and buckle. These fobs were likely used by campaign supporters, particularly in Washington state. A great example of early 20th-century political memorabilia with historical significance and collector appeal.
