According to the so-called “Glashütte rule” , only such watches should be able to adorn themselves with the Denomination of Origin “Glashütte Uhr”, for which most of the added value is realized in Glashütte. For this reason, frame parts were often elaborate by hand, finely finished, a complete Glashütte gangway and tempered screws used. The elevator wheels also received the typical Glashütte sunburst.
