Victorian 12K etched gold-filled framed carved shell cameo brooch. The etched frame has an oval shape. The beautiful woman with a bob hair style is wearing drop earrings and a sweetheart cut top. There is a bail that folds down and pulls up to wear the cameo as a pendant rather than a brooch.
The coloring on the cameo is beautiful going from a dark peach at the upper right to nearly white on the left. The pin back is stamped “Van Dell 1/20 12KG.” The brooch measures 1-3/8 inches tall and 1-1/16 inches wide. It is in superb condition.
