WW2 Luftwaffe Flight Helmet: Five leather panels helmet for glider pilots, trainers, and all light aircraft without radio equipment. The Luftwaffe also used helmets like this made for open roof and convertible motor cars. The leather is very stiff with some light mold; needs humidifier treatment and other leather conditioning. This helmet is an excellent item to experiment on before trying to restore more expensive leather projects.
